I started drinking apple cider for more than 6 months now and I'm very happy with the outcome. I first started researching last year and i was surprised with all the good things that came with it that we even talked about it on the MyDrs show. I'm currently taking apple cider twice a day- 1st thing in the morning and before bed.
First of all when you're purchasing apple cider, you should get the one with mother, where you can actually see the sediments inside. I usually make a jugful to last me a few days and i put it in the fridge.
This is how i prep mine ( for 1 glass )
1 glass of water
A tbsp of apple cider
a tbsp of lemon juice
1 tsp of honey ( optional )
I also add a dash of cayenne pepper to kick it up a notch as it increases your metabolism. For the first timers, I have to warn you that it doesn't have a pleasant smell.
If you have a hard time downing the apple cider as it can be sour for some of you, you can start of with maybe half a tbsp first.
